What We Do

Well, hold onto your hats because we’re about to embark on a journey like no other!

Picture this: you, behind the wheel of a trusty 4×4, tackling trails that would make even a mountain goat shake in its hooves. Our goal is to boldly go where no 4×4 has gone before! We’re not just seeking out new adventures; we’re on a quest for discovery – discovering ourselves, the great outdoors, and yes, the love of Jesus Christ! Who needs a pulpit when you have a mountain peak, right?

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “This sounds amazing, but can I really get stuck in the mud?” The answer is a resounding YES! We’re here to get you stuck, dirty, and maybe even a little lost – all in the name of adventure! Think of it as a team-building exercise, but instead of trust falls, we’ll be executing some epic winch rescues. And let me tell you, nothing brings a group together quite like a good old-fashioned mud wrestling match (but we’ll keep the wrestling to a minimum… or will we?).

Imagine scaling the top of a mountain, breathing in the fresh air, and feeling the presence of God all around you. Who needs a fancy church service when you can have a heart-pounding adventure filled with laughter and camaraderie?

Homeless Veterans

We are dedicated to supporting veterans who find themselves in the most precarious situations—those who lack the resources and options necessary to secure stable housing.

Our process begins by addressing their most basic needs. We provide them with a meal, ensuring they have nourishment and comfort. We take the time to sit down and talk with them, getting to know them as individuals, as human beings, and as the American heroes that they truly are. We strive to understand their situation and their unique needs.

To meet these needs right away, we offer essential items such as a Bible, a toothbrush, food, water, socks, and other necessities. By providing these basics, we aim to create a foundation of care and support, helping them feel valued and respected. Most importantly, we provide them with a friend—someone they can count on, who will treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve as human beings.

To address these urgent needs, we collaborate closely with the veterans homeless program social workers. Together, we assist veterans in identifying suitable housing options of their choice and guide them through the process.

While it is challenging to obtain precise counts of homeless veterans due to the transient nature of this population, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) estimates that approximately 40,056 veterans experience homelessness on any given night.

Veterans Connecting With Veterans

Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Connection? Isn’t that what my Wi-Fi is for?” Well, not exactly! Veterans need each other. We need to connect with like-minded individuals who understand our quirks, our stories, and yes, our love for tactical gear that we definitely don’t need.

But here’s the kicker – we also need our civilian supporters. You know, those brave souls who willingly choose to hang out with us despite all our “war stories” and questionable jokes. Without you, we’d be lost in a sea of camo and nostalgia, talking to our pets about the glory days.

Let’s face it: sometimes the power of connection can be more effective than therapy or those prescription drugs that make you feel like a zombie. So, whether it’s sending a text, picking up the phone, or just getting outside for some fresh air, let’s make it happen!

So, who’s in? Let’s create a support network that’s stronger than our coffee and more uplifting than a good meme.

Overlanding

You know, that adventurous mix of camping, off-roading, and pretending you know how to set up a tent without losing half your gear in the process? Well, it turns out it’s also the perfect platform to connect and share your skills and each other in a fun, laid-back way!

Let’s face it: during your service you picked up some pretty awesome skills. First aid? Check. Technical vehicle recovery? Double check. Trip preparation? You bet! But once we hang up our uniforms, it’s easy to feel like those skills are just collecting dust. Overlanding is like that magic time machine that lets us dust off those rusty skills while enjoying the great outdoors!

Imagine cruising through the wilderness, channeling your inner Bear Grylls, and having a blast reconnecting with your family and fellow Veterans and law enforcement officers. Not to mention, it’s a great excuse to get away from the daily grind and swap stories around a campfire (preferably while avoiding any marshmallow fires—those are still classified as “not cool”)

So, whether you’re a seasoned overlander or just curious about what all the fuss is about, I invite you to join me in exploring this incredible experience. Let’s bring those skills to the forefront and make some unforgettable memories while we’re at it!
